Stratolaunch’s Roc—the world’s biggest airplane by wingspan—was built by Scaled Composites as a one-of-a-kind air-launch platform for aerial vehicles and aerospace research. Roc is expected to begin commercial operations late this year from its base at California’s Mojave Air and Space Port.
