The National Business Aviation Association’s largest annual convention will return to an in-person format in October, a year after it was forced to cancel amid the ongoing pandemic.

The 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition will take place October 12 to 14 in Las Vegas; the show alternates between Orlando and Las Vegas.

The show typically attracts between 20,000 and 25,000 people to learn about latest industry trends and partake in a range of educational opportunities targeted toward every segment of business aviation.

“Advanced air mobility is front and center again this year,” Tyler Austin, NBAA director, certification, said in a statement. “We have a great opportunity to bring industry and government officials together to provide updates about the certification process. We will have a number of opportunities to hear from subject matter experts regarding sustainable aviation fuel, carbon offset programs, and more.”

More than 50 sessions will be offered, including:

  • Pre- and post-show Professional Development Program courses
  • The Single Pilot Safety Standdown
  • The National Safety Forum
  • The Small Operator Symposium
  • The Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference

In addition to the in-person gathering, the show will feature on-demand offerings, and Austin said education sessions will be recorded for viewing later online.
