Flight Services Training Centre Europe, an aviation training organization based in Greece, is expanding its fleet with the purchase of six more Tecnam aircraft.

According to Tecnam, FSTC Europe will take delivery of four P-Mentor and two P2006T NG (next generation) twin-engine aircraft as part of the acquisition of 25 new training aircraft to be progressively delivered by the end of 2027.

Tecnam said the aircraft will be used for training towards a private pilot, commercial, instrument, and multiengine ratings.

FSTC Europe is a long-term partner and operator of Tecnam Aircraft, and school officials note they selected the company because its aircraft are the most modern and efficient fleet solution to meet their growing training needs. The school has a target of enrolling more than two hundred cadets per year by the end of 2028.

“We are very proud to be collaborating with Tecnam, a leading training aircraft manufacturer,” said Captain Kostas Katsikias, CEO of FSTC Europe. “With our years of experience in pilot training, and with Tecnam aircraft now being ordered with the most advanced additional upgrades, such as ACAS, synthetic vision, and PBN capabilities, we are confident that we can enhance the professionalism and quality of future aviators.”

Walter Da Costa, chief sales officer at Tecnam, also lauded the companies’ business relationship.

“The key to success for a flying school is to offer students modern aircraft with low operating and running costs, an innovative design, and Italian style,” Da Costa said. “FSTC Europe has proven how to innovate flight training and set new standards.”

FSTC Europe calls itself a multifaceted aviation training organization (ATO) providing training for pilots, cabin crew, maintenance technicians, and ground staff. The company’s headquarters are located in Elefsina, approximately 12 miles west of Athens.
